All the products created by Translate are handwoven and handcrafted. Hence, subtle variations in color, texture, and finish are the signature of the human hand.

• Wash separately in Coldwater
• Machine wash on a gentle cycle
• Hang dry in the shade
• Low heat iron
• Don't use bleach

• The pattern placement may vary as each garment is cut separately.
• Never wash whites with colored clothes.
• Don’t use harsh detergents. Mild liquid detergents are advisable.
• Reds may require being washed separately for the first few washes.

Before you return a Translate product, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional artisans in rural India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other.

Let's not think of an irregular weave or print or a stitch as a defect. Hand loom by definition means a glorious uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.

In spite of these variables, at Translate we stand behind the quality of our products and we will replace the product free of cost if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason. Please read below our return & exchange policies before you return any item. 

Return Policy
Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase please follow the instructions below:

• Please note that returns will not be made unless there is a quality issue

• Returns, if any, need to be made within 10 days of receiving the goods.

• If you wish to exchange or return an order please email us at enquire@ikatindia.com or call us on +918886000562. 

• Translate will replace the returned items free of cost or issue a credit note for the cost of the goods.

• Shipping charges for both domestic/international will not be refunded and customers are required to pay for the shipping costs to return the goods to the applicable return address. 

Exchange Policy
Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase please follow the instructions below:

• If you would like to request an exchange please write to us at enquire@ikatindia.com

• Items which are to be exchanged need to be sent to the addresses given below within 10 days of receiving the goods. 

• Translate will replace the items free of cost or issue a full refund if we have sent you a wrong item (wrong color or size). 

• The value of the exchange order cannot be lesser than the original order. However, it can be more. In this case the difference amount has be paid by the customer.

• Shipping charges (domestic/international) will not be refunded and customers are required to pay for the shipping costs to return the goods to the applicable return address.

Note: Customers cannot return or exchange an item which has been purchased online at any of our retail stores, and similarly retail store purchases cannot be returned through our Online Store.

 Exchange will be done in the following cases:

• Genuine sizing issues, only for unused garments. Please review our size guides carefully before making your purchase.

• Genuine quality issues.

• In case Translate discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you. 

Refunds will be done in the following cases:

• Packages lost in transit.

• In case Translate discovers any wrong pricing in its online catalogue and the price charged to you is higher than the actual price.

No exchange will be given in the following cases:
In case of minor design and color variations. With hand loom products there will always be some variation between products.

No refunds will be given in the following cases:

• Incorrect or outdated delivery address.

• Incorrect address format including any form of a PO Box address.

• After 3 failed delivery attempts by the courier.

• Package refused by recipient.

• Products returned in a used or damaged condition.

Note: exchange and Refunds will only be made after we have received the returned shipment except if the package has been lost in transit.
